We are extremely proud to have been selected as the supplier for this project. Andfjord Salmon aims to build and operate the world’s most sustainable aquaculture facility, and we are delighted to contribute to their achievement of this goal with our waterborne feeding system.

Our technology provides the capability to transport pellets of varying consistencies, which can enhance fish welfare and challenge existing systems. Through extensive and productive discussions, we have discovered numerous shared perspectives with Andfjord Salmon, particularly concerning future technologies and services within aquaculture.

Christian Torgersen, COO of Andfjord Salmon, also expresses great satisfaction with the collaboration. He emphasizes the importance of finding a feeding method that is best suited to their concept and choice of feed type. The collaboration with Smir and feed supplier Skretting will also contribute to shaping the pellets and their nutritional content of the future, as well as yielding positive effects on energy consumption, microplastics, and infrastructure.
